What if Katie's Friends were seen in TMvTM 3rd Act

When I was watching The Mitchells vs. The Machines for the first time last year, I was kinda hoping that Katie's friends (Jade, Hanna, and Dirk) would appear again in the movie's third act in the climax where it would either be Katie finding where they are at the space launcher rocket or them breaking out of their pods after seeing the Mitchells in trouble so that they could help them finish off PAL, but neither of those happened. However, for this thought, what if Katie's friends did appear in the Mitchells vs. The Machines third act, how do you think that would change or differ the movie?

Personally for me, since the writers didn't and never thought of Katie's friends appearing in the third act/climax of the movie, maybe it could be something for a Mitchells vs. The Machines short film that would serve as a midquel where we see what happened to Katie's friends (as well as the Poseys) during the main events of the movie.
