This needs to be said

Many people complain and hate on reboots, remakes, and spin-offs for these following reasons for not being or following their source materials or even have the same stuff such as if new additional characters are taking any previous characters' place for the sake of spotlight as it pretty much translates and implies them to saying "IT RUINED MY CHILDHOOD!" But to say this, that IS the POINT of most reboots, remakes, and spin-offs, they are not suppose to be like or follow the originals, they are meant to be and act like their own thing especially how many of them are made for a new generation of kids. Also, the canon of the originals are not ruined as they are spared for how most reboots, remakes, and spin-offs are usually set in an alternative universe or timeline.
