The 6km walk up the Mangorei track to this spot is well worth the time to get this view. I'd love to come back and photograph Taranaki from many different view points around the mountain but for this trip, I chose the safest once off option!

As a kiwi I love this I climbed it once got half way up and the wind started I was almost blown of Egmont, I will get up to the top one day .Great photography
