wooden planet

so...
I saw today an interesting tutorial as dd...
ok, i didn't follow it^^
one reason is: it's hard to follow a PS-Tutorial with gimp...

but I wanted to know, wether I can make something like a planet or another ball-like-thing...

so... i can^^
of course, it's not perfect, but for the first test, I'm satisfied...
btw: the "texture" is gimp's pattern "wood of some art"... I changed it a bit in colours...
