Romantic nap

Actually this has a bit of mixed media: inked traditionally but colored digitally.

Two days of watching Catherine Cookson’s and Barbra Cartland’s stuff (movie adaptations, on youtube)… for fun, I swear, especially Duel of the Hearts with the shampoo dude hero was soooo funny… but still? Romance is evil!!! It’s contagious!!!

This is what I produced (plus a couple of idea of stuff I DON’T WANT in my stories - that shall be fun to dismantle).

Alright the one with Helena Bonham Carter and Lord Vulcan was cool. XDDD That one I liked (but she still had a unibrow)

Anyways here we have Castalia and Kane :iconthe-pirate-balthasar: taking a romantic nap!
this was done with pen and ink and Photoshop.
The Pirate Balthasar is an historical, romantic comedy set in the year 1660 (Restoration era).

Thank you, I still think the composition is a bit off but it started off as a doodle as I like to do patternwork like crazy :D

P.S.: interestingly enough, for this style you've switched to tiny dainty feet for both of them ^^.

You think so? I thought they were the same size as their head ^^"

Ahah, well... this lateral view made me think of very pointy shoes, so that the actual available space for their feet (especially for their toes to fit, albeit squeezed) was less than the total length of their shoes. Following on this, their feet inside end up being smaller than (even) their hands, forget their heads.
In some of your alternative stiles you do go for tiny feet as well. Am I making sense to you? ^^;

But shoes in the XVII century were always compressing the toes, in fact they had deformed bones in their feet. Still the lenght of the shoes is the same as the head.

Ah, that movie XD. I remember some of the scenes I sampled some months ago cracking me up. Also, all that soft glowing light effect + cheesy music. Eheh. And yes, she did have a unibrow back then *pets unibrow*.

The drawing itself: LOVE :,)

it was actually correct but for some reason it didn't take it.
Now the stamp is working, after I opened, edited and closed the description again.
I don't know why it was acting funny.

thank you though, for reminding me that I had to look into it. I kept thinking I had to fix that and never got around to properly do it. :D

Okay. I was confused, usualy when someone's icon doesn't work it's because they put stuff like - in. I'll look again.

No problem!

thanks.
The dash was actually there, what wasn't supposed to be there was the space.
I keep forgetting to remove the space between icon and name of the group. LOL
