Pro-Patria Example Comic Book Cover Art

Concept cover art for my planned debut comic Pro-Patria. Scanned pencil sketch inked, coloured and graded in Photoshop.
The composition recalls propaganda pieces and the theme is Modern Militarism vs. Idealised Future Tech. The aircraft on the right is an A10 Warthog. The character's flightsuit is a riff on the current Red Arrows suit, with colours that evoke old-fashioned, unthinking patriotism.
I've tried to develop my flesh-tone work to create something a little more radiant, alive and translucent vs. the tones in my past work, and have heavily colour-graded the finished composition to achieve this moody look.
Perhaps not good enough to nominate for a DD but I'm overall very happy with the completed result and I welcome any and all comments!

The colours are fantastic and I really love the perspective! But it was really the style that intrigued me.

I really like the perspective. Seems like it would be a challenge to draw it like that. You did very well though! The lines and color are very clean too

I'd be lying if I said the pose was from scratch, I referenced several of DA's awesome pose reference artists when drawing this but most particularly spiked-stock.deviantart.com.
