In celebrating the 25th anniversary of the airing of the Timon & Pumbaa episode "Once Upon a Timon", I have written an alternate universe fanfic in the tradition of the Marvel Studios animated anthology series What If…? to explain what would happen if the cobra from the episode grabbed the wrong meerkat.
