The darkness is like the weight of the world bearing down upon your soul.  Asleep at night you can't see it because you have succumbed to another level of consciousness.  It's an easy place to be, an easy place to go, there you are at the mercy of the rulers of the dark.  In that easy place, what you take for granted, I become the watcher, ever vigilant against the rulers of the dark.  Their faces are many, your mother or father, a sister or brother, some close friend or just another guy or chick you glimpsed one day long past, but I know them.  Those rulers of dark.  I will hold my say when they pass my way, those rulers of dark.  To prot...
