Alright, back on the job on making episode two.
I was a bit depressed by the low comments and favorites on the first one,
but after a few fans contacted me, i'm motivated again.
I guess every series needs to get a little going before it gets a hold on people.

Anyway, i decided to share my point of view on the comic,
what i feel, think and where i draw my inspiration from.

Let me first start of with the inspirations:
I get a lot from Assassins Creed, of course, its the main theme.
But the present date and future in the game is very very blurry and not very clear.
There for, i mix it up a bit.
As you might have noticed,
there is a bit of Tomb Raider (The Movies) in there, with Travis as the geek hacker.
But there is also quiet a bit of Resident Evil, (The Movies) as Abstergo has grown into a huge size,
more or less like Umbrella Corporation.
They are into military, medical and biological science. Schools and educations, you name it.
You might also find a bit of inspiration from some of our classic DC heroes,
such as Batman, Catwoman and more.
I don't know about Marvel yet,
even though i'm a fan of both DC and Marvel, Marvel is just too much over into fantasy area.
I try as much as i can to stay true to the Assassins Creed theme in form of realism and whats possible and whats not.
At the same time, i have to remind my self its 2035, and things change A LOT in 22 years.
Just think technology 22 years back? I mean damn!
But i do incorporate a little futuristic elements into the comics here and there.
Such as her new electronic hidden blades, her extendable tech blade and her nano suit.
There is much much more to come, as she expands her social life, gain new friends with other skills and capabilities.
Things won't just pop up out of no where ;)
Everything little item, every person and what else will have a background to it, and it will not turn fantasy or magical.

Well, its getting late here.
But to round things up, here is a little briefing on the upcoming Episode 2:
This episode will be longer than the first one, 20+ pages i expect.
We will be seeing much more of Jake and his friend Harold,
as they have some unique skills and capabilities that can prove very useful for our Assassin.
We will be getting her identity partly revealed.
Most of this episode is gonna be around getting her identity on the table.
But we will also be seeing the beginning of her hunt, for a deeper explanation.
That's about all i will reveal at this time, not to spoil anything ;)

In future episodes:
We will be going back in time, to see what role her ancestors had that could have been so important to Abstergo.

And that's about all i will share now :P
Tease tease ;)

If you still haven't had a chance to read the first episode, here is your chance:

PS: If i forgot to mention it, every episode will be released the 1st of every month, at midnight.

Ugh I can't believe I picked up on the dc inspiration but not tomb raider. X(
So far I've seen it as more modern than futuristic (with the exception of the watch communicator). Which helps me become drawn into the story.
You've gotten me to really start considering what all has changed in 22 years and it ready validates your point.
I'm making sure to mark off the first for each month so I don't miss the issue.
And thanks for continuing the story and not giving up on us.

True, but i see a future where technology is fairly hard to get your hands on as Abstergo keeps it to them self's.
But without saying too much, that will change that as we get along.
