I have the distinct memory of writing this SOMEWHERE, but it must've been lost in the debris of the Internet - so I might as well reiterate it.
I've been on DeviantART for 7 years now - I must admit, when I first made it, I left it lying around for a while; I was still discovering the limitless grounds that digital art is, and I had nothing to contribute. But, eventually, one by one, art began to pile up, like patina on bronze - and I dare say it got better with time. Much of my old, crude beginner pieces lurk around my profile, others are lost forever in OS re-installations, hard drive burnouts and general accidents - but those that remain still make me smile and evaluate my progress.
In the end, I always reach the same conclusion - I'm far from perfection, and I wouldn't have it any other way: learning is the most fun one can have with are, because with it comes mastery and with mastery comes experimentation. Not necessarily in that order.
Over my 7 years of cheerful doodling I managed to hook up 65 hapless souls as my watchers - people willing to appreciate the things I do. And as that number slowly nears 100 (but surely, but surely), I want to thank you all for your interest - and to tell you, and all future watchers: be critical, be vocal, do your best to point all the flaws you can see, for there are many. You won't hurt me, instead you'll help me show you guys a higher quality of drawing than before.
Again, thank you, and, as always
