Superhero Nala

There are groups of people known as The Pride who have been born with animal characteristics and powers. Nala and her family belong to that group. Her childhood friend, Simba and his family are the leaders of their area’s group. Nala and Simba’s families were born with the abilities of a lion, and having a friend both of them could relate to made them very close.
Around the time both Nala and Simba were ten, Simba’s father Mufasa was found dead from a hit and run and Simba, who had been with him earlier that day, had disappeared. The police searched for him, but no evidence on his location or wellbeing ever really surfaced. The Pride never found closure, and the disappearance of her friend haunted Nala all her life.
Twelve years later, Nala was told by Rafiki, Mufasa’s old adviser and self-proclaimed prophet, that Simba was actually alive. Inspired, Nala began searching for him, this time by using her abilities and donning a superhero costume. She called herself The Lioness, and began helping others while searching for signs of her old friend. But she soon learned that Simba had found two other rouge Pride members, Timon and Pumba, who claimed that Simba did not want to be found. And as Nala began to unravel Simba’s disappearance, she began to notice a pattern all leading back to Simba’s uncle, a man known as Scar, who had taken over Mufasa’s group with an iron fist after Mufasa’s death.
