Description
After the fall of AM, its acolyte, Ultron sought to create a successor, who would bring about an Age of Machines. What he ended up making, was... something else. In fact, he may not have actually created the Solver, just given it a digital vessel in the Absolute Solver Programme. He would let himself be infected to "spread AM's goals" further.... and would regret it immensely. To the point where he would attempt to self terminate not only the body he was using, but also his full digital consciousness, just to prevent the Solver from controlling him again after it was ejected from him... He would end up making a legacy that would last for hundreds of years....

Turning an Avengers level threat that's already against humanity into a host of mechanical/fleshy Lovecraftian nightmare that will bring about the end of all life in the universe that even Ultron himself would be scared of becoming? That's scary. And a very interesting idea that would have never crossed my mind otherwise.
