Sad to say I some how saved the web size over my large file and only have this to show.My plan was to work on this more but I will submit it anyways because I still like it.

It's strange. I like the image at its thumbnail size, I like the silhouette, the subject, the colors. But not from near.
I think its because of the texture and its placement, very much spread on the sides and flatering the character at the center.
There is a lot of things to look at, a lot of noise, but I feel like there is not enough to look instead. There is too much texture and not enough to see of the subject, not enough happening. I don't like either to see the smudging on the spikes.
There are some things happening in the center of the piece, arround the eyes and the neck but it ends there, I think it would be nice to see more. Less texture for the edges but more details and volume into the character.

I like that new character too. 'Looks pissed. : )

Thanks so much for your honest critiques.I appreciate it! What your looking at is around 2 hours of playing around and trying to get into a flow and occasionally I save a smaller version so I can view it on my ipod and keep the image in the forefront of my mind while I'm at work or on my travels to where ever in the city.I believe I saved the small size over the larger file size and lost my work.I wanted to work on it for another 8 hours but I lost steam when I found out what I did.The nice thing is this was just a warm up piece kinda like a speed painting getting me ready for some ideas I want to try out in the near future.I have two make up artists that are interested in my next project. This is wear my fun is going to come from.Keep your fingers crossed that it will happen sooner than later?
Once again thanks for dropping buy.

Loosing file is very annoying. But yeah, if you're gonna make something more with that new character, that's great, I'll be there!
