A hat I made as a late birthday present for

I am amazingly proud of this hat. It's the first sewing project I've done that I didn't have to rip out a bunch of seams to get it right.

The pattern is mine, but it was the least consuming part of the whole project!
I am doing a daily deviation challenge this year with

, who got me on board after she decided to do it.

So this is my day 3 deviation! (Even though today is the 4th; I made it yesterday.)
Materials: Fabric (corderoy-ish, home decor material for the outside, and some black muslin-type for the lining), two buttons, ribbon, interfacing (in two weights), two grommets, thread
Time: About 7 hrs

Excitement level: Very high.
