Did you change at all this year?
Definitely. I suppose it's hard to go thru cancer, stem cell transplant and parenting a 2-year-old WITHOUT changing. I think I am more impatient with what I consider "petty" problems ... or others complaining about "petty" things, tho I know everyone has problems and specific things that are important to them and I do need to respect that. I also worry less about what I consider "minor" things; Is the laundry caught up? Is the floor vacuumed? I am not a slob, but I definitely am not so bothered by those things as I used to be. But then again "simple" activities like playing with my toddler or cuddling with my husband are things I can't take for granted anymore. I also don't like to "go out" as much anymore - I suppose that's what comes of being sick and bedridden for so long haha. A great "vacay" is staying home, eating spaghetti and watching TV with my hubby.Did you dye your hair?
I would have laughed at this a few years ago, but I did dye my hair purple in February. I felt like Nightcrawler from the X-Men. Did you get your hair cut?

Haha four months in cancer treatment away from home is NOT what I call a vacation, tho parts of it were so bizarre I couldn't help but laugh at them. Next year, perhaps I can take a "real" vacation.
