They'd crept through the street until the shadow appeared. The presence ushering in a panicked silence. Sure they'd wanted to find the killer but actually coming face to face with a cat was another matter.

But before they could decide to flee or flight the eery green venomous eyes suddenly became all too familiar. This was no Slasher.

This was something a million times worse.

THE COMMANDER 

Their leader. Their boss. The cat that had given them explicit instructions NOT to do what they were doing…

He didn't need to say much. The look of disappointment and anger was enough to have them quaking where they stood. A firm go home had them scuttling back the way they came…

The next morning none of them were surprised by the orders they were given. Their punishment. They had disobeyed orders and put themselves and each other in danger. Directly going against the Wardens code. 

They didn't get anything exciting like cleaning the captured cats cages. No.. they had the “honor” of cleaning the upper reaches of the coliseum. Scrubbing and wiping up gods knows what messes…
