@Tracy034 is a scammer.

He does NOT want to pay you $500 or ANY amount of money for art, permissions, or to avoid a lawsuit. He is a SCAMMER!

How the scam works:

  1. Contact and fake project: A scammer contacts you for a project, like art or "work" you are doing for them.

  2. Payment via check: They say they will pay you via check, which they will send to you.

  3. Mobile deposit: You will be asked to deposit the check using your bank's mobile app.

  4. More money back: The scammer will then tell you to send some of the money back to them through an app or another method to pay for "project costs" or for other expenses.

  5. Bank returns the check: After a few days, your bank will return the check as a bad check.

  6. Victim is responsible: You are now responsible for the entire amount of the bad check.

  7. Report the scam: You should immediately report the scam to the Federal Trade Commission at

  8. Report it: Report the scam to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) ReportFraud.ftc.gov and your state attorney general.
