Umbra was incredibly anxious. As she made preparations to enter the human world she fought with a torrent of emotions and doubts. She knew she could return at any moment but fear kept her paralyzed. Eventually Malignus showed up to give her some confidence. He told her that she hadn’t need to worry, he had the utmost confidence that she would make a positive impression on the humans. In fact, he was planning to make her the first to cross over anyway, if they figured out how. She already knew a fair bit about the humans and seemed the most interested in them...well...the most innocently interested at least. And with a little confidence boo...
