in a small resturant in the middle of town there was quite a bit of activity as people came and went from the busy resturant. however in one far corner sat a man on his own. a table for two with nothing but a bottle of wine and and two glasses on the table. one of them full as he sipped on it. it looked like he was waiting for someone and that someone was late. just then someone else walked in which grabbed the mans attention. he waved to the newcomer who in turn walked over to the table and took a
A man is driving down the road and breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, “My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night?”
The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound.
The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, “We can’t tell you. You’re not a monk.”
The man is disappointed but thanks them anyway and goes about his merry way.
Some years later, the same man breaks down in front of the same monastery.
