Here's a commission I just finished of Tinkerbell, which was sooo much fun to work on!
I wanted the background to look somewhat watercoloured, however, I wasn't working on the right paper (warping would be a huge issue) so I did faux-watercolour with the Copic Various Ink (refills) and dripped the ink onto a round paintbrush & painted with copic. It was a bit trickier to work with than watercolour, because copic ink dries sooooo fast, so it's half watercolour look, half dry brush, hehe, but it worked!
Tink & the flower were coloured the traditional way with Copic Markers. I mostly use the brush tip, not because it's better or anything, it's just a personal pref.
Her Fairy Dust was done with Copic Opaque White, watered down a touch, and a toothbrush. I had a few bigger drips that fell on the paper, so I collected the excess ink with a Q-tip & dabbed that around a bit here & there to give some rounder spots, not just splatter. Getting the toothbrush splatter going the direction I want is always tricky & I make a massive mess, but that's all in a good day of art fun.
Sparkles on her wings and the fuzzy bits on her slippers were done with Sakura Gelly Roll in White
Inks were done with Copic Multiliner in Sepia & dark green.
And that's it! I hope you like it!
