No, now that I look at a map you are too far south. My friends that lived in Alaska say that you can hear the aurora, it must be a mighty sight. Here, we got...pelicans.

He sure would have to work to be as crazy as that guy. You're paying a lot but probably about as much as anywhere else. I'm going to be moving to Woodsboro, the house is ninety years old and dilapidated, and I have an acre to mow that is hell. Rattlesnakes and scorpions abound and my cats have to be safe. At least I have somewhere to go. The neighbors are an iffy lot but the front is a cattle ranch and there is nothing to my right. I have 4 lots there and with my share of this house I live in, when it sells, I will probably build a rental. I'm doing all this on a very tight budget and have already had to interview with the town planner and I guess the chief law enforcement guy, he had a mustache and a sidearm and he grilled me about what I was up to. Less than 2000 population and coming from The Big City of Rockport I guess they're letting me know they ain't having none of my cosmopolitan crime wave bullshit. In the tiny office we were in there was a large gun safe and they made it clear they were keeping an eye on my sorry ass. I actually enjoyed myself, such people don't scare me as I'm not up to anything anyway, that I'm getting old just means to them that I'm real good at getting away with things. I think they thought I was in witness protection or something.

I took this picture 8 years ago and it is considerably overgrown now. That's the ranch in the background. The house is oriented to true north, you have to drive through 14 miles of cotton fields. Hope I can get internet. Grocery store about 8 miles away in Refugio, pronounced Re-fur-io, I have no idea why. All in all it will keep me busy, the main thing is fixing it so my cats have a yard they can go into that's enclosed. It's all mine so I will be wearing a crown and cutoff shorts as I walk about my kingdom.
