I neglected to mention but I contributed to a couple of comic books out in stores today (July 16th 2014).
Firstly I did a 3 page story for Boom's Adventure Time #30, written by Ryan North and drawn by a whole bunch of talented people who are going to make me look like garbage. I'm really excited to have been a part of this and I hope everybody on earth checks it out.
Secondly I did pencil assists and some backgrounds and what have you for Hacktivist vol. 1, a new GN from Archaia press, helping out my friend Marcus To here and there. Ian Herring coloured this one so it's beautiful. Archaia does gorgeous work and I highly recommend it.
Short notice but I drew Zenescope Entertainment's Wonderland #23, in stores this Wednesday, May 28th, 2014. The linework's by me, the coloring is by Leonardo Paciarotti, and the words are by Eric M. Esquivel. I don't know how Eric got publishers to properly credit with the middle initial like that, no matter how hard I try my "J" always gets dropped.
We busted our butts on it, and you can check out a 5-page lettered preview here!
Also have something very cool coming out at the end of July I wish I could talk about but I haven't gotten the okay yet. Soon?
Hope all's well. That is all.
In stores March 27th, 2013, Robyn Hood vs Red Riding Hood #1 from Zenescope Entertainment, written by Pat Shand with art by me! It's 40 solid story pages of two fairy tale superheroines kicking each other in the face! Who are you to resist it, ehh? It's been a lot of fun to draw and I can't wait to show stuff off from it! Soooooon...
Also, look for me at The Comic Book Lounge and Gallery's one year anniversary celebratory mini-con (that's a mouthful) in Toronto on Saturday, February 9th! I'll be there from like 1pm to question mark, depending on how things go, so please come by and say hello!
I sent out what I believe to be the last of my c
