Red Sonja - commission

My latest drawing - a commission for (This is just a low-res preview - the full-size pic is in his gallery: Red Sonja commission 19)

This was a rather unusual job in two ways: first, it's the first actual physical pencil-on-paper drawing I've done in many years! I've been working digitally for so long I wasn't sure if I could do a good job with real-world media. Now that it's done, I think I did a better job than many of the purely digital drawing I've done lately. Maybe I should do more of my drawings in analog. And b), he wanted a shaded pencil drawing, with spot color on the hair. (There are other examples of this kind in his gallery.) So I wasn't sure what kind of medium I could use on the paper that wouldn't wrinkle or buckle the paper. I wound up using a marker similar to Copic; worked fine!
