This was just a test shot with different materials. Glass, Stainless Steel, plastic and ceramic. Got a couple new strip boxes in and wanted to give them a whirl.

I love ducks :D I have 300+ rubber ducks/other duck-themed paraphernalia (like a cookie-cutter and a bottle of "Lucky Duck" wine).

I've always admired your work! It has inspired me as a photographer, and fueled much of my creativity.

But there is one thing I must know...

Where did you find these rubber ducks!?
And those syringes!?

The rubber ducks I got in Wal-Mart in the infant section. They syringes I got on ebay. Do a search for "glass syringe" and your should find them. :D

Thanks for your thoughts and I'm so glad I can inspire you. That means a lot to me.

I'm liking all the different materials! It's interesting to see how the light plays off of each item.

very cool... this summer I am finally going to get a room where I can set up cameras, lights, etc and start trying to do shots like these.. Is there any book or tuts that give you the "how to's" for setting up lights, camera, tables etc for shots like this??
