I really love how this piece looks! The glass is also so clean, i am always impressed with just how shiny and smooth your glass is, and the liquid looks like molasses <3

It's a beautiful image as always, you can always tell how much work and effort you put into these to make them so beautiful.

Great work. Your one of the only photographers I see around who captures imagination with "mind bending" abstract style shots. All your work is awesome.

This has such a satisfying line running through it, from the middle top, through the - is that an oil dipstick? - and the glass, down to the little reflection at the bottom, the perfect finishing touch in creating a delightfully cohesive composition out of such elegant curving elements. Your pictures always make me happy because they I never feel like I wish that bit was just ever so slightly different... when I look at them. Everything is there, exactly where it should be. As always, the lighting is perfection.

An amazing photograph and thanks for the description on how you achieved it. I had a look at the other one too and now I too am looking for a ways to try this.

I'm even more impressed knowing it was just liquid rather than liquid following a solid path. I've been doing stuff to my car all day so I guess my brain must've just been in motoring mode when I saw the picture. I'll always come back to your page cause I love what you create. Plus, I like keeping in touch with other people who have been here for ages :aww:

Hey Jasmin!!! It's the same principle as this shot... [link] The ease of that shot was much well... easier. If I missed I didn't have to worry about clean up because the base wasn't showing. This one was... setup... drop liquid... click... miss... cleanup... repeat more times than I want to admit. LOL

Really thick corn syrup with food coloring added. The glass I just hit with a torch and bent it a bit.

Hope you're well. <3

I'm still stunned at how you made the syrup bend like that despite gravity :D Thanks for the explanation! Have some lovely holidays Dave
