My Bio

I'm a French-American guy enjoying photos of Jonas Bendiksen, Jean-Michel Berts, Denis Darzac, Anton Kusters, Greg Girard and many others.

Improving photo skills As usually, and I guess I'll say that each time I add a new journal entry (every 6 months or so...), I really think I spend too much time between two batches of deviations submission. I've added a few photos last week-end ( here , here , here and here ), I shot them in the very few spare time I had in Shanghai in July, but I'm not very satisfied with what I produced. I need to practice to improve my skills, because "reading" tons of photo books doesn't just make it. Or maybe I should just stop thinking about improving and start applying :devlesnyswietlik:'s recipes (this is actually a must-read entry) to get fa...

Touring Quebec

0 min read
It's been several months since I've not submitted any new photographs. I think this is because I take time to polish my pics (and, thus, make them suitable for dA) mainly when I'm in a foreign country. USA, Japan, Portugal, Hungary, Spain, Poland have been some of my former pic places. Now, it's time to go back to North America and, more precisely, to Québec. I've taken only a very small cam with a 40mm (35mm-equivalent speaking), we'll see what I'll be able to shoot. Stay tuned :-)

My first journal entry in dA, just to mention that I'm this week in Kraków (Poland) and that I think that I now know why there are so many beautiful pics from Polish people on dA: Everything there is just amazing, whether it is people, buildings, nature, etc. The place is such a great source of wonderful photos! Now, I have to make some by myself but for the moment it's tourism-time: Too many things to visit before taking the time to shoot (and the night comes so early here...), and my camera is just too heavy to carry it all day long.

Thanks for watching! :+devwatch:
You're welcome, I really enjoy your street photos :-)
I wish I had the same kind of lights in my country to practice.
I too love the lights of Tokyo. You live in Paris?
Ah no, no more. I'm in a small city with no lights at night :-)
I'll try to upload some photos I shot during a trip in Osaka, Hiroshima & co in the days to come. It would be nice to get your feedback then :-)
