Hi, I'm Daughter-of-Shadow. I'm a 20 year old in college. This is probably the part where I should tell you about myself, so here it goes. First and foremost, I'm antisocial and bad at talking about myself to other people. Keep that in mind. I'm a straight-A student who can occasionally act a bit narcissistic, so I apologize in advance if I ever come across as rude or a know-it-all. I believe strongly in opinions, and I will rarely- if ever- say something just to speak (or type). There. Info on me. Now to the important stuff. I browsed DA for quite a while before getting an account because I was worried about being able to contribute something. Now I can say for sure that I'm glad I decided to do so.
I'm one of those people who is really paranoid about my work. I'm a perfectionist about quality and I worry constantly even when I know I have no reason to. At home, I really freak out about showing my writing to my family or friends, which is rather strange for me. Normally I couldn't care less about what anyone thinks of what I do or how I act. DA gave me an opportunity to show my stuff to people without worrying, mainly because I don't know any of you. I am an artist and a writer, though currently far more of the latter makes it here. I am attempting to learn how to make digital art on my Cintiq.
What exactly I write and draw will depend entirely on what I'm in the mood for. I draw a lot of inspiration from TV, particularly what anime I'm watching at the moment, and books. A good portion of my work will be fanart or fanfiction, but not necessarily all of it. With my drawings especially, it may only register as fanart if you know the exact scene or show I'm basing the picture on. I can draw a castle and- in my mind- it is one of the palaces in the Cardverse world I've built, but, without directly labeling it as such, you will probably just see a castle. My list of fandoms is ever changing, but what pieces I've added to my favorites recently generally give a good idea of where my head's at.
Ok, I think that's everything. If you read my stuff, please comment.
