So it would seem that I'm getting into another convention season!
Don't think I'll be hosting the Karaoke panel anytime in the near future, unless I can find myself a new laptop that can handle the convention scene better than the one I have. And figure out a better way to mix participant mics with the music while still keeping a visible score. *grumble*
If anyone happens to notice that I'm not carrying my camera everywhere at cons anymore, I blame that on the Crebers... Long story with a bit of drama, but the short version is I sent them a picture I took with my watermark on the bottom, and they cut off the watermark and used the image for promotional material without so much as a "Thanks."
It was very disheartening.
Anyway, moving forward!
I placed in the top 16 at the USA MLP:CCG Nationals! *squee*
That was enjoyable, if frustrating.
I've decided to try my hand at vending, and did far better than expected at Ponyville Ciderfest last year, so going to be trying a few venues (sharing tables with other vendors)
I'll be getting a few more sample pics up soon, but I'm planning some copper and aluminum wire art, 2d felt art, and maybe try my hand at using a super sharp knife and black construction paper. Wish me luck! I don't like bandages anymore than you!
My biggest pride, and love-hate project, is the Cards Against Bronies project (original working titles include "Cards Against Equestria 3" and "Cards Against Equestria (Daily)") - It's a huge hit at conventions, and I'd always get people asking where they could get some, so I started ordering extras for people to purchase. M. A. Larson, himself even bought one of my early prototypes
Hope to see you out there!
