a lovely piece of graphics work, yet it confuses my why you call it street photography. I mean, form is interesting from an aesthetics standpoint, and the shot was certainly taken in a public place, but that is as far as it goes. Also, street photography is very close to documentary photography, which means a minimum or zero amount of post-processing is expected, and you seem to have strayed from that quite a bit here.

Great capture of a great piece of art. Louise Bourgeois was truly one of the great artists of the past century. I was so saddened to hear of her passing last year.

That's known as the Maman(French).
There are about 6 of these in other countries, one of which is in Ottawa,Ontario,Canada.

Oops :P Oh well, free press for good books is never a bad thing :D

Anyway... "Maman" is french for 'mother' - if you look closely, the spider has an egg sag on her underbelly! The whole statue is several meters tall so you can walk under it and see if you ever come across one. There are a number of cities around the world with copies of 'Maman'.

But the piece is very good!
