I actually made no new entry in my journal since I came back from GalaCon 2014 - I was pretty inactive on dA...Anyways; GalaCon 2015 was interesting. Some things were good, some things were less good (no Art-Room ? What a shame...). Overall I think it was very positive. Made some photos and I hopefully can create a new stereographic image shortly.Spend some time with :icondasprid: and got to know more about the troubles of wearing a pony-suit - these people deserve some respect for their dedication. Also we bought the staff banner together - great success (but :icongalacon: needs to get a real banner next year - what were they thinking ...

I'm anything but an artist. I've finished an apprenticeship in media design, but generally I'm just a software architect. But since vectoring is so much fun and a great way to do something which is not related with coding, I pretty much enjoy to do it.

I don't take requests, but I'm fully open to commissions. By now I can create somewhat decent sketches myself, but if you prefer a specific style, you may also deliver a sketch yourself (it can be very rough, I'm fine with that). What I'm currently working on

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't done much art for quite some time. Well, of course the last season is over for 2 months already, but even before that I haven't worked on many vectors. What I was actually doing was training my drawing skills, especially my sketching. That took me actually quite long, but eventually I managed to get a few decent sketches done. With the help of :devbra1neater: I even managed to get a somewhat 3D-looking sketch done, which still took me about 3 days.As I wasn't happy with only doing sketches over and over again, I then decided to start learning some shading techniques. Quickly creating timelapses

When it comes to repetitive tasks, I tend to be a lazy person. And since I'm a developer, I try to make these tasks as easy as possible. My very first timelapses were automatically created by Justin.tv, but I had no control over the music or the resulting length, nor could I add anything.
