Here I am, stuck on the ground, Waiting for myself to be found. Finally she came and helped me on my feet, And now I no longer feel in defeat. The day we've waited for has come at last. Though it's been so long it has gone so fast. Our final practice before it counts, Our final practice before they announce. Will we go on? We do not know, We won't until we perform our show. Perform it with heart, soul, and mind, Characteristics that are hard to find. We have built it up all season long, And it is now time to perform the first song. Approaching the field, excitement fills the air, The nerves and anticipation is hard to bare.
