Although alpha duties take up most of her time, Namlag has noticed her grandson, Rivi, being bulled by the stronger Kinders in the cult so she takes him to The Slumbering Grove.

Leading her blind grandson into the shallow sections of the water, she tells him stories of the Gods and tales of previous Sanguines in an attempt to cheer him up.
