Sort of looks like the Flying Nimbus from DBZ :)

Awesome photography! :D I really like how you've captured it from a very high height

I have watched a bit of that series, although my younger brother was right into it for a long time :) I'll have to have a look through his collection :D and yeah, photographing clouds from planes is pretty awesome :D

Thanks :)

I had sort of forgotten about this photo, but I was going through all my photos a little while back to try and better catalog them and found this one and another of the same scene. Was shot somewhere between Phoenix, Arizona and San Francisco a few years back on my way out of the US.

Nice stratispheric thunderstorm seen from above.  Still growing.  I suspect spiking about 25k feet.  Would like to be under that one taking some kick butt photo's.

That's very cool :) wish we had fierce enough storms here for that to be viable, but they are really few and far in-between :( I used to watch those shows on Discovery a while back, with Sean, Reed and the rest of them, still follow Reed on Facebook, so see a few wild things there when he is streaming / posting.

Rediscovered this one, shot when in the US some time ago.
