It looks like that retirement with comics making is still slippery than I expected. Hah. I lost my day job again last December and I'm still waiting for our office to call me back. I have to keep doing comics so I can keep paying the bills but it's not enough just from one project. I hope this pandemic lets up and things go back to the way it was before. This year is going to be a very rough ride.

After a few months of thinking and mulling about, I've decided that it's time for me to put down the pen and call it quits in creating comics. It's not that I don't love doing it but it's just a frustrating venture for me. Through the years I've picked independent and personal projects and the pay per page were meager compared to Marvel Comics & Dark Horse Comics when I worked for them in the early to late-90s. I think they still do pay really good at the present but it's tough to get work from them, I find. I tried asking and begging literally to give me work since I worked with them before, but it's very competitive. There are new budding artists in their line up of titles. The chance to get work is really slim. I have prior commitments, two projects that are on the plate simultaneously and one that I'm still bargaining with the client for re-scheduling as I'm already full with my time table. I don't think I'd be able to add it right at the moment. I'm moving into a new venture
