Scratch by darkrune Scratch by darkrune
No, I did not use any software to make that ball transparent. It actually came out that way. The only thing edited in was a black background.

Hmm, I think I would have liked this better if it were a manip. A little motion blur behind the ball would help. . . Idunno. I understand your meaning of the piece, scratch and all, but Idunno, I want to think of the reality of it (moving ball) instead of your concept (ghost ball).

Wait how did the ball come out like that was the shutter speed messed or is your camera screwd or was it luck of the draw

shutter speed is shown in the EXIF information and i was experimenting with low speeds. i actually expected the ball to be shown in motion, rather than just still and transparent.

i just decided to call it that cause you can't hit a ball that's 'not there'.

so either the camera has x-ray vision or it is all-seeing and can see around the ball and thusly knows what the side of the pool table behind the ball looks like!

and all-seeing x-ray vision camera? you got it at RADIOSHACK didnt you!?!

oh...and nice picture!

Kickass shot. I like how you don't see the ball go in the hole...

Is that a bubble or what?

And what's with the catsup in the background?

it's a solid cue ball. turned out like that cause i was using a low shutter speed and the ball was knocked out later (it was during a game).

what catsup? where?

It's not a cue, but quite obviously a three, as you can see the three on the ball... moron =P

Ohhhh

Sorry, I didn't realize what it was. That "catsup" is the pocket. I thought it was a shot of a tablecloth...

The title makes more sense, now!
