Dragon's Breath by darkrune Dragon's Breath by darkrune
Directions:

Put a squirt of ethanol into a large water container. Swash the liquid around the insides of the container. Put a flame in (from a very far distance away).
Don't try this at home, kids.

It's a bit blurry because the combustion was cauing the bottle to move a bit.

Thanks to the WHS Chem Club for putting on the show!

Hm...I dunno. Some place that sells chemicals...a pharmacy, maybe?

I think you should look online.

Nice capture -- especially in the bottle, the combustion looks awesome. (I doubt combustion couldn't look awesome, but you had great timing and the color is brilliant.)

Any way to get rid of the black writing on the bottle? I ended up focusing on that because it stands out against the purple and breaks the continuous line of the edge of the bottle.

Nope. Not without extensive photoshopping and digital painting skills I don't have.

That's what I figured (not that you don't have digital painting skills, that it's more effort than its worth).

1/3 of a second is actually pretty damn long, and this was I think the third time they did this so I knew exactly at what pace this thing was going to happen.
