Do Not Disturb by darkrune Do Not Disturb by darkrune
Update: 2/4/04

I'm amazed and frustrated that people didn't tell me that there was still come colour left on the non-tree parts. Either no one bothered to tell me, no one cared enough to full-view it, or people just think I'm infallible and don't bother looking for defecst. Newsflash: I NEED people to scrutinize my works and tell me what's wrong so I can fix it and make sure I don't make those same mistakes next time. It's only by luck that I caught my mistake this time.

I though it was funny that this tree was still standing in the midst of all the construction at our school. The only living thing still standing tall with the earth torn all around it.

getting only the green of the leaves to show took a bit of thinking, but it was actually pretty easy.

I love this picture! I took almost the exact same shot in full black and white but i love the isolated color in the green leaves, its gives the picture a stronger feeling of the isolated life. Good job!

and just a note, i did full view it, i have a picky eye and i still didn't see the excess color so don't get yourself too worked up about it. like you said, at least you caught it!

i like the green. i have no qualms with this picture, save perhaps the lowest, most left branch. the actual branch itself (no just the leave) appears to be green. and that i detected with only the closest of scrutiny, so basically this one is right dandy as it is.

Something about this captures my attention, be it the green or the fact that it's still standing and those bulldozers seem ready to uproot it. It makes me want to... I don't know, hug a tree! :D I absolutely love it! Amazing job with the green; I once did something like that... until it drove me all but insane. (Well, that explains a lot.) I think I might Dev-watch you.

it involved two layers, the colour field select command, the magic wand, the eraser, opacacy changes, and some other stuff.
