Afterlife line art by Darkmir Afterlife line art by Darkmir
It's never a good idea to attempt a serious piece of artwork when your health is in doubt. My arterial problems and pending surgery kept me from finishing this.

Perhaps someone would like to colorize this for me.

As a get well present.

She kills this guy. It's been so long I don;t remember exactly how. There is this major action shot where she slides on her knees across the floor to retrieve her gun, while this guy throws that huge axe. It comes right at the camera and misses her by a hair. That scene was in all the trailers for this movie.

This was a fairly good movie. Not the best in the series, but not bad, to be fair. My real problem with the flick was that by the time I watched this (it's like the 7th or 8th frickin movie they have done in this series!) it was getting hard to believe the human race could really survive 8 zombie apocalypses!

But, if you don't think about it too hard, it's an okay action - sci-fi flick.

I've gotten used to not thinking too hard about works of fiction so long as they convince me of their lies ^.^

I dunno man...I think this is awesome as it stands. Love the clean pencil lines. And she reminds me a little of one of my fave artists...

Thanks Chaz.

I think Runevon is right about the elbow. Looking at it now, The elbow structure seems a little slim. As far as the ear thingy, I claim artistic license on that one.

I like small ears.

Surgery tomorrow morning at 7AM.... (fucking finally!) ...talk to you in about 2 weeks, my friend.

Surgery went fantastic, Chaz. I got to go home after just one day! I am on basic pain relievers while the incisions heal, but my leg and foot feel re-born.

This could end up fundamentally improving my quality of life.

Wow, nice work! I love the guy with the hammer. He looks pretty wicked. I also like the sensitivity in the line weights. Adds some interest.

But isn't that lady's gun arm a little too thin at the elbow? And maybe her ear is slightly too low? (I might be wrong on that last one. I was just trying to line up the eyebrow and top of the ear and couldn't, really, but maybe her head's just tilted and I can't tell.)

Hope you're feeling better, or that you feel better soon!

Good, useful comments, Run...

I agree on the elbow. Looking at it in smaller form here, the structure does seem a bit thin.

As far as the ears, consider that an example of artistic license.

I like smaller ears.
