The next night in the back room of Valtorez' club. Indeed in this conference room aside from Valtorez are nine other individuals. Most of these men and women (of almost equal number) are wearing regular business attire, although almost universally black. Aside from Valtorez in his cloak and cape only three others really stand out. A man wearing a black robe with purple diamond insignias, a woman with short dark black hair who is almost bleach white with fully black eyes, and the woman beside her who while dressed in a dark grey nearly black suit is clearly not only not human, but not what one would expect as a vampire either as her elbows are visibly ball joints like an expensive puppet with her head on a swivel along with glass like eyes.
