Tropes:

Academic Athlete: He played football (backup quarterback) and baseball (star pitcher) and had A's with the occasional B.

Asskicking Equals Authority: After slugging through the best that the New York underground fighting circuit had to offer, and clearing his name with D-Mob and co., he became third in command for the crew.

Authority Equals Asskicking: He didn't become the secondary consigilere (advisor) and primary enforcer by sitting on his hands for nothing.

Badass Baritone: He'll need it to keep everyone in check and command respect.

Badass Beard: His beard and mustache combo.

Badass Biker

Badass Bookworm: This what he was before getting into sports. He still loves a good book every now and again.

Badass Driver: Became a street racer after leaving D-Mob's crew.

Beware The Nice Ones: Despite his vices, he's a respectful and sterling fellow. Just don't catch him on an off day or TRY to piss him off. Seriously.

Big Brother Instinct: Him and his little brother are thick as thieves. He will cut a warpath if his brother is in distress.

Big Brother Mentor: Whenever he is there.

Boisterous Bruiser: If you piss him off, he WILL let you know much you suck while he mops the floor with your ass.

Blood Knight: Low key about it but he is fine with being an enforcer.

Braids Of Action: His french urban braids.

Childish Tooth Gap: Inverted as he is mature and intelligent while having a noticeable gap in his two front teeth; however, his sweetness and dorkiness will shine through from time to time when something piques his interest.

Combat Pragmatist: Very confident about his fighting skills but he will fight dirty. Given where he fought, it was a necessity.

Cool Car: Has very rare cars like the Zonda Cinque, Nazca C2, and a Diablo GT1 Stradale to say the least. Some were bought, most were won via pink slips, or were prizes.

Cool Bike: His custom chopper.

Deadpan Snarker: A tongue just as sharp as his mind.

Death Glare

Desperately Looking for a Purpose in Life: He tends to get bored easily when it lead to him wandering the USA only a few months after he started and dropping out college. And then, he gets to New York...

Determinator: Fought one of his girlfriend's kidnappers in a burning building before gunning for the main instigator of the kidnapping in the same night; furthermore, this was right after fighting his last former ally and fending off two other guys with a wounded former friend.

The Dreaded: Newbies who are trying to make a name for themselves are warned if they try to pick a fight with Ty whenever he's in NY for the summer. Especially if they are being disrespectful about it. He may not roll with D-Mob like he used to but he will remind those that he's the Boogeyman of New York for a reason.

Don't Tell Mama: He manage to lie to his parents that he 'graduated online and was walking the earth'. His mom may be intelligent but she's naive, and his dad just minds his business. He's fine with taking this to the grave.

Face Of A Thug: Is very approachable and cordial if you get past the scruffy appearance and scars.

The Friendly Texan: A downplayed (stereotype-wise) example.

The Engineer: Loves to keep up maintenance on his cars. He also made some widebodies for some of them.

Even Bad Men Love Their Mamas: And little brothers too.

Every Scar Has Its Story: His left eye scar was from fighting for the wrong girl (he still got the girl afterwards). His rear right shoulder scar was from his climatic clash with Crow.

Everything Is Bigger From Texas: He's 6'5" and from Houston.

Friendly Neighborhood Gangster: The other reason for his trips to New York. He helps with D-Mob and his community projects like block parties, street clubs for kids, building projects, etc.

From Nobody To Nightmare: From a college dropout to a former but immortalized fighter in D-Mob's crew to a well respected street racer.

Gadgeteer Genius: He likes to tinker with stuff in his spare time. He even made his own house a.i.

Genius Bruiser: Don't let the looks fool you, boy is smart.

Guile Hero: Powered by the strength of street knowledge. He will use whatever he know about you against you.

Had To Be Sharp: A necessary evil in order to survive New York. When he first joined D-Mob's crew, he let the atmosphere changed his personality, which helped him adapt quickly, until his girlfriend gotten kidnapped.

Heartbroken Badass: After his girlfriend recovered from the Sticky fight, Ty broke up with her. He hated the fact that she gotten hurt and he could do nothing about it. He's fine now but it's a sore spot for him.

Heroic Build: Hard to tell with the baggy clothing but it's there.

Humble Hero: He dials back on the bravado after his girl was kidnapped and it sticks.

Hunk: A rugged example due to the scars, beard, and tattoos.

The Hyena: He usually laughs the loudest whenever he hears a good joke or pun.

I Got Bigger: The main reason he gotten builled and his immediate foray into Muay Thai.

It Was A Gift: A pendant from D-Mob as his appreciation for his efforts. He lost it for 'betraying' D-Mob and his crew before reclaiming the last club for Crow; however, Blaze gave it back to him after Ty made amends for his 'betrayal' and clearing things up with the others.

Jack Of All Trades: A slower example.

The Kingslayer: Or in his case, The CROWslayer.

Living Legend: Became an icon in the underworld after offing Crow. Even moreso as he helps with D-Mob about giving back to the community.

Lovable Jock: Still hanged with the nerds even after started playing sports. It's the fact that he became good at football, baseball, and is a generally a good guy that the bulling stopped for him and his own circle of friends.

Lovable Nerd: Loves all things tech, a wonderful knack for tinkering, has been gaming since he was in diapers, and is a good, honest guy who is willing to lend a hand.

Mr. Fixit: He can fix his cars back to perfect condition if they are salvagable.

Names To Run Away From Really Fast: The Boogeyman of NYC and The Crowslayer.

Nice Guy

Nice Hat: Usually bucket hats but he wears other hats.

Playful Hacker: He hacked into a bank's financial records and stole some money when he was 10. Another thing that he is fine with taking to the grave. Now, he hacks here and there to keep his skills sharp.

Rags To Riches: From aimlessly wandering the US after dropping out of college to a nice condo down in Dallas.

Retired Badass: He hanged the gloves up after three years with D-Mob full time wise. Now, he makes trips to New York every summer as a part timer.

Scary Black Man: Downplayed, he did killed three people but he is approachable. (Trejo, Sticky, and Crow)

Screw The Rules, I Have Connections: Thanks to D-Mob and his own hacking skills, they both managed to get the charges about Ty's interference with his arrest (at the end of Vendetta) dropped.

Sharp Dressed Man: He'll put effort into looking good here and there at times.

Self-Made Man: Thanks to street racing, streetfighting, inventing and hacking odd jobs, he able to live relatively comfortably.

The Smart Guy: Graduated 20th in ranking.

Shout-Out: An obvious one for the Hero (a more fleshed out and experienced version) from Def Jam Fight For NY. Although, this is way after the main story (three years to be exact). His number of fighting styles is another reference to Henry Rollins, the player character's trainer, who also has four fighting styles.

Soul Brotha: A downplayed example.

Strong and Skilled: Knows four fighting styles and experienced numerous bouts in the ring. And that's before his intelligence comes to play. He went and learned his fourth and final fighting style somewhere else after Henry Rollins taught him all he knew.

Strong Family Resemblance: Has his father's looks but also has his mother's intelligence.

Tattoo As A Type: Has a tribal elephant on his right arm that represents his intelligence; it's also his favorite animal. The word 'VEINTE' on his back to represent his graduation rank and code name that he went by when he used to roll with D-Mob' crew.

Tattooed Crook: A heroic example.

Tranquil Fury: If he's pissed off enough and just resorting to just glaring at you...run.

Unlimited Wardrobe: Has a ton of racing jackets and sports jerseys, vintage and modern.

Why Does It Have To Be Spiders: Especially big spiders.

Wrestler In All Of Us: Can whip a few moves here and there.

Moveset:

Claws: Balanced with a dash of armored zoning

Clawless: Balanced with a dash of armored rushdown

Fights with a personal fighting style (consisting of Muay Thai, Capoeira, Kickboxing (specifically American), and Submission fighting) and a pair of carbon fibre + tungsten gauntlets (later on all carbon fibre) that can generate liquid nitrogen claws that he made himself and liquid nitrogen bombs (Explosive; later adds Cluster and Shrapnel options that he can change and activate manually by his hand only or his voice only). The gauntlets can also let him have a freezing touch that requires him to wear gloves.

  • Hail Shotty: (Ty learns this before his third tournament appearance due to the advancements he made on his claws; this replaces Iced Out cause Ty wants to reduce the wear and tear on his arm.)  Ty fires a spread burst of ice from the barrels on his claws; can be used in the air and as a feint. EX version can have Ty shoot another burst straight forward (via tapping the button) or shoot down at the op's feet (via holding the button)

As he dismounts, he leaves a bomb to blow 'em up; MAX turns the bomb into a cluster, bouncing the op two more times. Counter any kick, and it's Sean Paul's Street Respect Blazin'; MAX turns the bomb into a cluster, bouncing the op two more times. It counter any Super moves that isn't or starts with a projectile; MAX can counter any Climax Super that isn't or starts with a projectile.

Set Trippin': Input with any punch and Ty freezes his entire claws and claps hard, sending ice shards to make the opponent defend themselves, blinding them. Then the rest of the move is like Dabo's Sucker Ball Stomp; MAX has Ty add more stomps to it, ending with a stomp to the head. Input with any kick, and it's Bo's Pop Yo' Collar; MAX has the final knee attack be a knee uppercut to send the op in the air only to be impaled on his claw.

  • H-Town Guillotine: (He starts using this in his third KOF outing.)  Input with any punch and Ty lunges forward with a straight punch and it goes like Snoop Dogg's 187 but he does the final move with his shin. Climax Super (Claws):

Burnout: Using his sleeves as a makeshift flail via freezing one half, he smack the opponent before tying said sleeve around their neck. He gets into his car with the opponent struggling on the outside. He then make his car do donuts fast enough as he let the opponent go, sending them flying. The length of the flair will depend on how many sleeves he has. If he used both of his sleeves, he'll stab the ground hard enough to kick up dirt (ala Sephiroth) to get the op in the eyes before using a steel chain. (The car will depend on what color you choose)

Swangin' N Bouncin': (He starts using in his second KOF outing.) He grapples the op and then throws the opponent upwards by his legs.
