Youngblood Psychic

In Tokyo, Japan...

 

         KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

 

         "Coming!" A young female called from behind the door.

 

         Ty leaned toward Duck King, "You sure this the right spot?" They were standing in front of an apartment door.

 

         "Foo', I told you this it," Duck gestured matter of factly. "Now, lemme do the talking. She knows me better."

 

         Ty stepped back, "Go ahead."

 

         The door opened up to a woman, who is 18, that came to Ty's chest. Her auburn hair flowed down to her butt in a low lazy ponytail. It looked like she is having a lazy day with the large T-shirt and shorts that she is wearing. Her amber eyes shone as she recognized Duck King.

 

         "DUCKY!" She shrieked as she hugged him.

 

         Duck chuckled as he returned the hug, "Good to see you again, Momo."

 

         "It's been forever since I've seen you, Ducky! Well, except your streams but I'll take what I can get," Momoko nuzzled into his chest. As she does this, P-Chan II popped out of Duck King's hair and nuzzled against Momoko's cheek. "Hehehe, good to see you again, P-Chan!"

 

         Finally, they broke off and then Momoko noticed Ty, "Oh, who's that, Ducky? A friend of yours?"

 

         "Yeah, this is Ty. We met up in New York. Ty, this lil' bundle of energy is Momoko," Duck introduced.

 

         Ty went for a handshake but Momoko went and hugged him.

 

         "Hehe, sorry. We hug around here! Now, come on in!" Momoko giggled, squeezing him like a teddy bear.

 

         Although a bit pertrubed, Ty resigned to it and patted her on the back. They soon broke off and she led them inside of her apartment to the living room. "Aight, Momo, we have a proposal for you."

 

         "Yeah, what is it?" Momoko asked, bobbing back and forth on her feet.

 

         Ty pulled out his invite, "I've been invited to the King Of Fighters tournament and I need to pull a team together. Duck here is my second and he told me about you so-"

 

         "You need me as your third?" Momoko finished, looking more and more elated.

 

         "Yeah," Ty replied.

 

         Momoko hopped up and down, "Ohh, I am soo happy to be your third! I've been practicing my butt off and I made some new moves! I wanna show Athena how much I've grown!"

 

         "Then it's settled. We have a team!" Ty exclaimed excitedly, taking out the note. "Now, we'll meet up again in Tokyo, and head to the outskirts at the end of the month," Ty read the last paragraph of the invite.

 

         "Oh, we gotta have a team name!" Momoko chirped.

 

         Ty looked towards Duck and Momoko, "Well, we three go through life on our own different vibes so..."

 

         "Wait! That's it! Vibe! Why not Team Vybe!?" Duck proposed exubantly.

 

         "Perfect," Ty remarked. "From now on, we're Team Vybe!"

 

         "Yeah!" Duck and Momoko cheered happily.


The team has assembled! Now for the tournament.
