Invite To The Big Leagues

         "Yep, haven't missed a step have ya, son?" D-Mob praised, offering a fist bump.

         "I wouldn't be me if I lose," Ty responded, bumping knuckles with D-Mob.

         Blaze hung an arm around Ty with a smirk, "Now that the trash is taken care of, let's get stupid! Hope Dallas didn't make you soft, Vein."

         "Boy, I'll be fine. You just worry about catchin' tail with that damn football jersey of yours," Ty joked, tugging at Blaze's jersey.

         "Um, excuse me? Tyani Cunningham?" Kaori asked, stepping up to the three with a wary look.

         The three men looked at the lone woman. Ty walked up to her. "Yeah, speaking. How did you know my name?" Ty questioned, on guard if she's a fed or not.

         "Well, how about I just show you," Kaori replied, opening up her laptop. The screen flashed on to show a mysterious woman shrouded in shadows.

         "Tyani Cunningham! We at the King Of Fighters have be keeping a close eye on you and your endeavors in the ring. I, Anastasia, want to honor you personally by inviting you to the King Of Fighters tournament!" Anastasia informed proudly.

         "King Of Fighters? The video game?" Ty pointed out, scratching his head.

         "Yeah, Doc and I play that here and there. But how they know about you, man?" Blaze wondered.

         "Prolly from World Star or somewhere else. Let 'er finish, you two," D-Mob reminded, motioning Anastasia to continue.

         "Yes, some games are hit or miss but remarkable nonetheless. Now, Tyani, I picked you because you have the makings of a future champion of KOF. If you accept, you will have all expenses paid to each fight venue. Beat everything that KOF has to offer and you will receive a cash prize of $25,000,000! All you have to do is to find two other team members within a month to join you," Anastasia instructed.

         "Hmm," Ty pondered carefully.

         "Come on, man! Twenty five mil!" Blaze prodded.

         "Weell, things have been slow since Crow's out of the picture. Other than the fights and what not, it has been quiet and boring," Ty noted thoughtfully.

         "You're right about that. It has been peaceful as it can get in New York. Now, are you in or out, Veinte?" D-Mob inquired.

         Ty looked at Kaori and her laptop, "...I'm in."

         "Great!!! Kaori, hand him his invitation! Tyani, you have made one life changing decision. Best of wishes of getting your team together!" Anastasia praised as Kaori handed him an envelope and walked towards the exit.

         "Aye yo, what the hell just happened?" Blaze inquried.

         Ty eyed the invitation with mirth, "I dunno but I think it's about to get interestin'."
