well, CF2014, came and went by, in a flash.
I didn't particularly enjoyed the event that much this time around, maybe because the crowd suddenly boomed into 60K attendees? (i dunno, i overread this somewhere on someone's post)
i finally did my BBC SHERLOCK cosplay on day 01.
I didn't exactly put 100% into the cosplay (yeah, missing the contact lenses)
But i had fun with my Sherlock buddies. And it was kinda cool to have only close knitted fans recognise your cosplay.
To other people we look like normal people attending (probably after some meeting or luncheon because of our formal outfits) but to fans, they were screaming/whispering IRENE ADLER~!! / MR HOLMES! / JAWWWWNNN...
so yeah. The fan made it fun~!
I went and splurged on Wolvtrune
's booth again. (seriously, her works are amazingly awesome! It's the one booth that i frantically searched and looked forward to during CF2014)
Was kinda sad that the desktop calendar is out of stock when i reached (WTF IT WAS ONLY 2PM ON DAY 01!!!! 0____0)
But it was a buy-or-die situation for me, so i went and snagged the wall calendar (THANK GOD I DID, IT WAS SOLD OUT LATER AT 4PM-ish) and 2 super adorable Sherlock-John-Stag-Night mini pillow.
(i blew my entire day budget there...oh well, it's worth it, for SHERLOCK!)
Then we went into the doujin area and started scanning around for interesting sherlock stuffs. Saw a couple of pillow cases/stickers/doujin comics, but as i've mentioned earlier, i blew my budget. T_T
(the ' I AM SHERLOCKED' pillow case was REAAALLLYYY tempting, but i had no place nor pillow to stuff it with anymore, so i had to give it a pass)
It was kinda interesting though, while i was waiting for people to do my fandom tee COD, i stood there alone whilst the rest of my team left and wandered around.
A couple of people came up to me and went 'MR HOLMES, are you alone? where are your friends?' .......i just went ' friends? I DONT HAVE FRIENDS. ALONE IS ALL I HAVE, ALONE IS ALL I NEED'.....(then giggled after that)
another dude came up to me and went 'BUT...YOU R SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!' ......i went ' dead? that's...so 2 years ago'...(yup, giggled again after that)
It was fun talking about the fandom and how much you're obsessed and excited for the next season with fellow fans (who are strangers, mind you)
we headed out, found a spot and did a SUPER SHORT shoot. (based on Scandal in Belgravia)
Still waiting for the photos, but it was super fun! (Irene Kabe don-ed me...so many times, i finally admit and realize that Sherlock, is..in fact, an uke =_
DAY 01 ended with us fellow sherlockian heading to Taipan USJ and having dinner in Sukiya~
2nd day was nothing much to shout about, i only stayed for less than 2 hours, and left.
i was having a massive headache that time and i went after a friend's wedding brunch.
So i only went as ghetto Kazuya Miyuki from Ace of Diamond. (in which, not many people could recognize it was me..LOL!)
Wanted to meet up with drippingwater
but they left the moment i got into the parking area. T_T
Too many people, and it was nearly impossible to get into the stage area if you didn't queue up at.....like...8am in the morning.
With that being said, MAYBE, just MAYBE.....i might give CF2015 a pass. (lol, i maybe in korea that time too!)
i'm just contemplating because of the doujin booths. (ESPECIALLY Wolvtrune
's booth. I'm looking forward to her CF2015 works. AWESOME ARTIST)
P.S >> i'm on MC today. Headache was killing me since yesterday, and i decided to not go to work today. I feel that if i went to work, i would've died there. =_=
