I started a youtube channel for the process of some of my plein air paintings. I usually paint on iPad with Sketch Club or Brushes App.
What I do here is basically what I do for my bigger scale paintings, except without the fancy texture brushes and PS shortcuts. Environment painting is usually daunting for artists who aren't used to it, but all it takes is practice (like everything else). And if you're willing to dive into it, you might just find it more fun than painting people, like me :D
