Its been roughly solid 2-3 years since I've actually been an active artist on this site. That's a long time. People may have wondered if I moved off the scene, or left my paint to dry on the pallet left on the stool in front of the canvas.
In reality, I came back from the bathroom and started to paint on the canvas, but when I turned to the side table to refresh my paint and my leg accidentally took out a leg of the table and my artist tools were destroyed.
In other words several years back I broke the charger port to my laptop, that event caused a sudden change in me as for several months I was crippled from doing digital conversion for my art for months. In that span things happened in life like my first job and moving a second time and getting another. When I was back I only had enough creativity to do art for FallofHyrule. Sometime after I got into Larp, FallofHyrule came to an abrupt end and with it I felt my push to draw fade away.
To be honest I really want to make a return with content that is original. I feel like deviantart will be the only be the proper platform to do it on than Tumblr, which as we all know is filled with pornbots and a constant struggle to have art reblogged or even seen. What really gets me is that the OCT scene here is kind of dying off and I was hoping to make a return with the use of one to test my story telling skills in a setting I can fit my own characters into.
As far as personal projects, over the long period of work and procrastination my brain has been developing the big story I've been wanting to fabricate since highschool. Kaza and Zain being part of a big fantasy world, enduring the paths that they're destined to take with detours included, with individual side characters that have roles as well. The hurdles for something like this feel high, not only am I wanting to deliver a story that I don't want to have pointless filler, I also want to not have holes in it.
I hope many of you are still around to see and read this, if you are. Thanks and I hope to bring you some form of content soon.
