A failed merger of the ceranid Nephae with the Dolph, an artificial waveform created by the long gone Jhewai scientists.

Nae, untrained by the secret customs of the Nephuni(native ceranid) sky colonies, is extremely vulnerable to large predatory waveforms. If Nae’s emotions are too heavily disrupted in the presence of such leviathans the transformation into Myosis occurs. The process is painful and distressing, causing them to float and stumble about unleashing wave after wave of burning energy and crushing pressure as they wail in agony.
