What If Quan Chi Has Survived in MKX?

-If Quan Chi had survived in Mortal Kombat X it would be for the following scenario (at the Special Forces base where the scene takes place in MKX): 1.-Before Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi) cuts off Quan Chi's head, a returnee (in this case Stryker) would arrive and hit Hanzo making him retreat and thus Quan Chi would free himself and summon Shinnok again to attract him and thus Quan Chi and Shinnok would continue with their plans to conquer the Netherrealm to conquer and have all the realms and by the way the story of MKX would continue the same, although in a different way with the defenders of Earthrealm trying to create strategies to stop Shinnok but now together with Quan Chi not to mention Cassie Cage too.
