Sea Hawk by DarkFalcon-Z Sea Hawk by DarkFalcon-Z
Errol Flynn as Geoffrey Thorpe in "The Sea Hawk" (1940)

charcoal, charcoal pencil, smoothen in artweaver, as reference I used scene from the film
Parts of the film were missing, when I was watching it , I don't know how does it end :(
any ways I got the feeling that Flynn, as suave yet haughty privateer, mostly just played himself swashbuckler

It ends with him returning to England, and killing the traitor Wolfingham (Henry Daniell) in a duel. Interesting side point: Wolfingham's name seems based on Sir Francis Walsingham, a leading advisor of Queen Elizabeth I and her really patriotic spy master (it was he who got the proof against Mary Queen of Scots that she was behind a plot to kill Elizabeth). Walsingham was no traitor working for Spain like Wolfingham is, and the name error is quite an insult to Walsingham's deservedly high reputation.
