I have been highly influenced by Kierkegaard in this work, new combinations are crafted by mixing universes, new perspectives... Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the zeitgeist. What starts out as contemplation soon becomes debased into a cacophony of lust, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the inevitability of a new order. As subtle phenomena become transformed through frantic and academic practice, the viewer is left with an insight into the possibilities of our existence.
