If you ever get the visit Netherlands, I suggest visiting the park in Breda. It's one of the most calmest and nicest places I've been in. I was truly happen while I was in my little moment, taking pics of so many animals around me that were freely roaming the park, completely used to humans, and humans being used to the animals resting and enjoying themselves in the park. It was truly a blissful moment...

Taken with my more than 4 years old Canon Rebel XS (1000D) and more than 16 year old 75-300mm lens.

I love this!!! I love it very much. You can clearly see that the duck is just meandering along in a pond one day looking for either something to eat or something to drink. Though it could really be both because it looks like there are crumbs in the water for this duck to eat. I love scenic pictures like this, this is absolutely beautiful.

Maybe next time try a higher angle when taking a picture like this unless you were going for the duck as the main subject of your picture and in that case this is a wonderful picture. Thanks for sharing it.

This picture really made me feel like I was in the Netherlands. Kudos for that! I can feel the serenity and calmness you expressed as well. The impromptu of the fact that the goose was not flying away from the camera- beautiful technique... I don't see many photos like this, but when I do it makes it even more amazing. The lighting, zoom, and flash were all done perfectly. It was taken in the moment, and I am ecstatic to feel that I am part of that moment too. Overall-gorgeous, unique, and impacting. I can't ask for anything any better.

What makes this picture amazing is how relaxing it looks and feels. You can easily tell it takes place in a calm, peaceful park on a sunny afternoon. The way the sun shines on the water adds to the sensation, and the duck is the first thing your eyes look at.

Also, the ripples in the water glide your eyes left and right slowly, the same way that water moves in a pond or lake. When you observe this piece of artwork, it feels as if you're actually at the park sitting down on a bench, watching the duck. Fantastic!

This shot is truly amazing.

The lighting, the ripples on the water, the subject blissfully unaware that it is being photographed..... Everything about this speaks about the patience you need to capture that perfect shot.

The best part about this picture is the amazing ripples on the water surface that mesmerizes you... <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

I'am not sure about the technique you used, but maybe it's because I do not know much about photography. For a camera that is 4 years old, and a lens that is more than 16 years old, this is a really powerful impact!

Good job. More pics plz!

This is a lovely shot; it evokes feelings of peace, and calm, and that certain tranquility that is only to be found in nature.

I like that the goose has its head down, as it's a less typical angle, and adds more visual interest in the lines of its body.
The colors are beautiful, and again, lend to that feeling of peace and harmony.

The things I didn't like as much, was that the goose was not centered in the frame, and that the angle is slanted, I feel that because of the amount of ripples, and therefore, movement, and busyness, it would have been calmer, to have a level angle.

Though I like the ripples, for me, there were a few too many, at least with how the sun is lighting them so dazzlingly, to the point that I almost focused more on them, at first than the bird.

Otherwise, this is a great shot!

I myself have done some photography before but I mainly just used my phone to edit and mess with the color in the picture so I don't have too much experience with photography but I'll try my best ^^ well from what I can see it looks like you used the zoom technique with your camera to really capture the duck's beauty and reflection in the water while at the same time capturing the sunshine which adds more to the beauty of nature. Your timing with the camera was very good too cause you took the picture at just the right moment to where the duck is leaning down towards the water rather than just taking a picture of its head up but this looks very nice and you definitely have a eye when it comes to nature and photography nice job!

Very good capture moment. You definitely got a good shot of the geese. Continue with these types of shots most definitely. The time of day definitely has a major impact on your photo for it gives it an amazing reflection of the rippling water. The goose in the picture is a nice addition for you got it at a certain moment where it gives this photo a nice peaceful and tranquility sense to any viewer who'd agree with me. The capture of this though, it is just spectacular that you caught this at just the right moment to this goose.

This photo is brilliant. The pond looks like magic, sparkling, green, abstract. I love all of the oval ripples all in the water, fantastic. Perfect rule of thirds.

I always have trouble moving my camera to get the subject in the right spot. I love how the duck is far enough over so that we get a sense of mystery as to where it's going and and what its goal is, but you've left enough space for us to see the crystalline trail the duck has already left. I feel like I'm looking at the past, present and future of a duck on a fantasy pond from another world, and it makes me slightly confused. In a good way, of course.

I love photos like these, fairly simplistic, very natural, shouldn't make you think too hard. I always think too hard if it's good, and this photo has made me scan every detail and create a story for each aspect of the photograph.

I give my congratulations to the photographer on such a moving piece, you deserve every star I've given you. And trust me, I don't bother giving a critique if a photo isn't worth it. I feel privileged to honour you with such a high rating.

Thanks for such a well thought-out and excellently worded critique ^^! It's really nice seeing what others see in my photos and knowing that other people see way more and think way more deeply about them than I do myself.
